Family Affair is an interactive installation on family trees, identity, and the way we perceive time. The participant is given a flashlight at the entrance. As he lights up the wall, family portraits appear. But as he reveals them, he also « diggs in » the next generation’s layer. The result is a patchwork of ancestors and parents, ending as he reveals the current generation.
